Improved Celeste. Last 3 Cuttings.

Improved Celeste is a very nice fig that was bred & developed from the LSU fig breeding program. In spite of never being officially released, this fig has been circulated by fig growers for many years now. Though "regular" Celeste is a great little fig in itself, Improved Celeste has earned its place as a definite improvement over the typical Celeste fig.

Improved Celeste is a great tasting fig that is somewhat larger fig than regular Celeste and has a longer neck. The skin color can be greenish to dusky purple. The pulp can be a darker shade of amber to pinkish. The flavor is mildly rich and sweet.

Although I had a couple of ripe fruits on my tree this year, I somehow managed to fail to get any photos. I will do my best to get some pictures next season.

The photo of cuttings is provided merely as a reference for the size and quality of cuttings you will receive from me. 

In this auction you will receive the last three cuttings I have available of this variety.
