Description

A Sangue is an ancient Italian fig,  whose name translates to "blood",  originates from the Brindisi and Valle d'Itria areas.  It produces one crop which starts ripening in late August through September.  The figs are medium to large, with a green to yellow skin, and deep blood red pulp.  It was thought to require pollination but has been proven to be common, ripening figs outside of wasp territory.   The taste has been described as juicy, sweet,  and aromatic with a bit of acidity.  Watch Harvey's video to get a further description:

I am offering one cutting of A Sangue, sharpie thickness or better, 8" long with multiple nodes.  I have not fruited this variety, as it is a new variety in my collection.

Shipping only to the lower 48 states.  Not shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or Internationally.

Feel free to message with any questions and thanks for looking and bidding!
