I will ship to anywhere in the US on Mondays. All of the varieties I am offering have fruited for me and have been confirmed to be true to type. They've also been cut fresh and have plenty of moisture within. Thank you & feel free to ask me any questions.

Varietal Info: This is a fig that I saw on a Figs4Fun thread years ago. Scroll down and you'll see Gorgi mentioning it: http://figs4funforum.arghchive.com/post/2nd-annual-fig-festival-in-Staten-Island-NY-5484511

After meeting Peter Cundari at one of the Staten Island fig festivals, I decided to ask him about this particular fig. Being the go to guy for all Belleclare related things, I figured he would know best. To my surprise he told me that he has the variety and his Mother tree is very old and needed a fresh start. He told me that it's similar to Preto and that he said that he would send me some cuttings, but they are the only cuttings that he has left and it would be up to me to save the variety. That spring I messaged Peter and he was elated to find out that I grafted a tree for myself and rooted one for Peter. The next Staten Island Fest, I repaid his kindness with a replacement tree. You'll be one of the very few growers to have this fig and with its history, it's even more special.

It's definitely a fig that's similar to Black Madeira with sharp complex berry tones combined with high sweetness from fig nectar pooling in the void & dripping from the eye. A must have flavor profile for serious collectors. Shows little signs of FMV and is not a shy bearer. Very late to ripen.
