Galicia Negra is a common variety that makes delicious dark purple fleshed figs. My tree grows robust and large. The figs are now coming in this year. These are lignified summer cuttings which should be rooted soon. You can get a head start on next year by getting a nice size plant by winter. Let it go dormant and it will explode next spring. You get 2 cuttings similar to the picture. I have a few criss crossed branches that I need to remove.
