Jackfruit Seedlings- UNK variety

You are purchasing Jackfruit seedlings in the pictures above. They were grown from seed about 3 weeks ago. They do have sufficient roots to survive but have been recently transplanted into their current temporary containers. I would highly suggest leaving it in it's current container for a few weeks-months, so it can grown more roots.

Under good growing conditions Jackfruit seedlings have been known to start flowering at just 2yrs old from seed (not grafted).

Jackfruit is a species of tree in the fig, mulberry, and Breadfruit family. The fruit is a yellow-orangish pod that surrounds a seed, and there are LOTS of seed pods inside the massive fruit! The taste is like JUICY fruit bubblegum, it is a tropical sweet fruity mixture including tastes of Coconut, Banana, Strawberry, Pineapple, and Mango. It is a must have tree for any exotic/tropical fruit tree collection!
