Col De Dame Blanc (Green and non-dormant)

You are bidding on 2 nice size CDD Blanc cuttings of no less than 8 inches in length.  Please note that the these are non-lignified or partially lignified green cuttings. I will harvest the cuttings on the same day that I ship.

Summer cuttings need to be rooted immediately...they cannot be stored in the fridge for more than a week in my experience.  I have good luck rooting summer cuttings -- my method is to root outdoors in the shade using some sort of humidity dome.  This can be as simple as a cut 2 liter plastic soda bottle inverted over the cutting to retain moisture.  I usually use DE as a planting medium.

The origins of my mother tree derive from cuttings that I purchased from Jon Verdick of Encanto Farms during their annual sale.  I purchased those cuttings on March 18, 2014.
