Description

I grafted this tree in February. The first seven pictures are the plant for sale. Then there is a picture of fruit on the mother tree. It's not my mother tree but it's the source of the scion wood of the tree for sale. The poster showing mature fruit is from Pons book.

The plant started slowly and has symptoms of FMV which supposedly is normal for this variety. But it looks better now and has good roots just right for up potting. The fruit on this tree is stripped as is the wood. So it has not reverted to a non stripped fig. I think this plant will grow and fruit well.

I will back this tree 100% as being true to variety. If you ever have any doubts please contact me.

As with all my trees I stand behind this plant 100%. If not true to type you'll get all your money back.

The plants have been in about 50% sun. So gradual acclimation to full sun is advised. They are being water about once a day. Don't be afraid to water especially if they wilt.

Please don't purchase my plants if you are concerned about FMV. They are probably all infected even the ones not showing symptoms. I do spray regularly with a number of recommended miticides and my plants do generally grow and fruit well.
